Subramanian swamy exposed

Subramanian Swamy the biggest political Fraud India has ever produced an indepth story.
This maverick professor specializes in misleading and maligning images of well respected personalities. He has recently been trying his luck in demonising muslims of India. Has written an article which exposes his mental bankruptcy. It appeared in DNA owned by Subhash Chandra who also owns Zee News. The RSS background of the owner is a known fact.
Swami's views are Islamophobic in the extreme and presumes that the people behind blasts were muslims and calls for violence against muslims. This dangerous Joker of Indian Politics is helping fuel the cycle of hatred which shouldn't be justified in the name of freedom of expression.
The author should be charged under sedition for trying to create communal disharmony by making unproven and explicitly false statements.
Harvard Economist and Tamil Brahmin's Hindu-Zionist arguments proves that he is in a continual intellectual sulk. Has no clue of Indian Political reality. He is caught in a time warp. The Maverick who has been an outspoken reactionary always has been a nuisance for the civilized society.

It is these very points that Dr Swamy finds hard to digest. His ego seems to be bigger than the acceptance of an entire nation to Sonia Gandhi as our 'bahu'. Ofcourse it makes a good copy in the newspaper or a splashy headline on news channels if you make false accusations. So it would be safe to say Dr Swamy is looking for cheap publicity at the expense of others.
He is the same man who himself has been making money under the garb of creating a Hindu rashtra. Dr Swamy had organised a function organized on October 26, 2008 in Edison, New Jersey, to raise funds in the name of Sanatana Dharma, that is Hindu Rashtra. While preaching ‘dharma’ to others, Dr Subramanian Swamy did not follow the same himself. He did not inform the government of India about the fund raising in the U.S. nor accounted for the funds collected. This incident confirms that Dr. Swamy does not practice himself what he preaches to others. This is just one of the many allegations against the holier than thou Dr Swamy.
Its a bit surprising to know how such a person is still in public life. Despite his contempt for moral values, he still raves and rants about demolishing mosques in a secular India. But the people of India have shown the door to such people, Dr Swamy has never won an election after 1991. The same time since he became a turncoat. Its time Dr Swamy took the help of a psychitarist and retired from public life.

MODI DUMPED BY ALLY JDU

JD(U) president and NDA convener Sharad Yadav steered clear of Modi's fast when asked: “In Gujarat we don't have an alliance with the BJP and fight elections separately."
He added: “The BJP is our ally; so why should we speak against it (the fast).” But, he wondered why there was a need for such hype over a leader’s fast in a country where 70-80 % people lived below R20 a day.
The JD(U) has maintained a distance from Modi's fast from the very beginning, indicating it still fears any truck with him can harm its prospects among Muslims in Bihar, a powerful 15% of the population.

Harvard Students Upset

Washington: Upset over his recent article on Islamic terrorism in an Indian newspaper, a group of Harvard students are urging the varsity authorities to sever ties with the Janata Party leader Subramanian Swamy, who teaches economics at this prestigious University every summer.

"We demand that the Harvard administration repudiate Swamy's remarks and terminate his association with the University," says a petition campaign launched by students of the Harvard University.

The petition posted on the website of the Harvard University and signed by more than 240 students, faculty and post-doctoral fellows, so far, says that they are outraged to learn that Subramanian Swamy, whose recent editorial shows him to be a bigoted promoter of communalism in India, also teaches economics at Harvard University Summer School.

Swamy teaches Economics S-110: 'Quantitative Methods in Economics and Business' and Economics S-1316: 'Economic Development in India and East Asia'.

Donald H Pfister, Dean of the Harvard Summer School has said that the school will examine the issue.

"At this point we have only a basic awareness of the situation and have not been contacted by the organisations involved," Pfister was quoted as saying by 'The Harvard Crimson'.

"Professor Swamy is a long-time member of the Harvard Summer School faculty who previously was a member of the Department of Economics here. We will give this matter our serious attention," Pfister was quoted as saying.

Swamy, however, told the Crimson that the Indian response to his op-ed has been positive.

"I don't think anyone in India, except the left wing, has been upset by my article. There has been wholesale support," he said.

Writing in the wake of the July 13, 2011, bombings in Mumbai, Swamy has exploited this event not only to promote a vision of Indian society based on Hindu supremacy, but to disparage and cast suspicion on the entire Muslim community in India.

"Muslims of India," he states, "are being programmed by a slow reactive process to become radical and thus slide into suicide against Hindus," the petition said.

"While free expression and the vigorous contest of ideas are essential in any academic community, so, too, are respect and tolerance for human difference. By advocating measures that would grossly violate freedom of religion and the unqualified right to vote for different religious groups, and by aggressively vilifying an entire religious community, Swamy breaches the most basic standards of respect and tolerance," the petition said.

"More specifically, Swamy's comments cast doubt on his ability to treat a diverse community of students with fairness and respect. The highly insulting and stereotypical nature of his comments suggest that he cannot be trusted to regard Muslims - and no doubt other groups - with anything but a jaundiced eye," it said.

"Swamy's views are deeply offensive; they are also dangerous. The measures he proposes - far out of step with the everyday secularism and tolerance embodied by most Indians - would threaten to tear apart the basic fabric of India's pluralist democracy. And, as Indians know too well, the brand of rhetoric that he employs has fueled violence against religious minorities in the past," the petition said, adding that Swamy can have no place in the Harvard community.

"These are statements you'd expect a demagogue on the extreme right to say, but a professor who comes here, who got his Ph D from Harvard?" Umang Kumar, a student at Harvard Divinity School, was quoted as saying by The Harvard Crimson.

Kumar and Sanjay J Pinto, a Ph D candidate in sociology and social policy, organised the petition with a small group of peers and then emailed it out to an initial group of 80 students, Crimson said.

kafan chor: Yeddyurappa indicted in Lokayuta report

Yeddyurappa indicted in Lokayuta report

It is all that we already knew was true, but we were still waiting for it to become official. Karnataka CM BS Yeddyurappa has been severly indicted in the illegal mining scam by Karnataka Lokayukta.

Exploding the myth that BJP is a party with a difference, Lokayukta N. Santosh Hegde, a retired judge of the Supreme Court, in his second report has indicted Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa, for indulging in corruption by allowing illegal mining in Bellary area and receiving benefits from the mining companies whom favours were shown.
The report blames the BJP government of Karnataka for perpetuating systemic corruption to loot public resources in the state. The volumnious report also highlights that BJP Chief Minister Yeddyurappa and his family have been beneficiaries of the largesse of mining companies. The report says an educational trust run by the Chief Minister's family allegedly received large sums of money in donations from mining companies.
The names of Janardhan Reddy, Revenue Minister K. Karunakara Reddy, Health Minister B. Sriramulu, Housing Minister V. Somanna and the Bellary brothers also figure in the report.
The report has also blasted Yeddyurappa for retaining the allegedly tainted mining barons from Bellary in his Cabinet.
It says that one of the perpetrators of fraud is the Obulapuram Mining Company. Tourism Minister G. Janardhan Reddy is a partner in that company.
The full report is exhaustive and covers a number of other aspects.  It puts on record that due to misdeeds of the BJP Chief Minister on this account the State exchequer suffered a loss of Rs. 1,827 crore over a period of 14 months between April 2009 and May 2010.
What is more significant is that although the first part of the Lokayuta was out in 2008 yet Gadkari's continued to support his Chief Minister Yeddyuruppa.   He had said in an interview, "Yeddyurappa has been doing good work".    That was not an excuse but an attempt to skirt the issue.  Ethics and Integrity must be above all. BJP must show its corrupt Chief Minister the door.
Karnataka was the first state in south India to try BJP government.  Now its consequences are known to everyone.
The BJP must dismiss its Chief Minister and his ministerial colleagues for indulging in corruption and nepotism.
However, it seems doubtful if the BJP has the requisite guts to touch Yeddyruppa.  The Chief Minister belongs to a powerful Lingyat community which brought the BJP to power in Karnataka.
BJP in desperate bid to gain power let the rot enter the state polity.  In stead of working for the welfare of the people, the BJP government engaged itself to help the Bellary Brothers to lot the state valuable resources in return for monetary favors.
The Chief Minister does not seem to be worried about the severe indictment against him.  He is holidaying in Mauritius without any intention to cut short his visit on this serious occasion.
The Congress Party which had so far been facing flaks from the BJP over 2G and CWG scams has demanded that BJP must remove its Chief Minister for his indictment over corruption charges.

BJP- A Big Failure

Yeddyurappa protecting party leaders from criminal offences

BJP Chief Minister of Karnataka B.S. Yeddyurappa has withdrawn 11 criminal cases against senior leaders of his party.  The cases related to violation of model code of conduct and electoral malpractices in the districts of Bellary, Raichur and Uddupy.
The Chief Election Commissioner of Karnataka made a specific reference to Tourism Minister Sri Ramullu, who is close to the infamous Reddy brothers who are running their mining business in Bellary.  These brothers influenced BJP government to grant mining licences in violation of government regulations and ignoring environmental norms.
The decision to withdraw the criminal cases was taken by the BJP government despite opposition from the state Director General of Police. The BJP government took cited lack of evidence as ground for withdrawing the criminal cases pending against the 11 senior BJP leaders.
The CEC has objected to the BJP government decision saying that such move will encourage electoral malpractices and violations of the model code of conduct in the future.
The chief minister was criticised severely recently after resignation of the Lokayukta Justice Santosh Hegde on similar grounds.
Justice Hegde had alleged that the government was reversing decisions taken by him and in the circumstances he was unable to protect an honest officer who was being harassed on behalf of the Reddy brothers.
Recently in a confidential letter to the state Governor Hansraj Bhardwaj,  the CEC complained that in July 2009, Karnataka government withdrew 11 cases against senior BJP leaders
